WE are reading a book called Stone Fox. It is about a boy named Willy and his dog named Searchlight. Searchlight is a cool dog because is black with a white diamond on his forehead. I think the white diamond looks like a searchlight on the dark black fur. What do you think about Searchlight? Searchlight is a good name for Willy's dog because she has alert eyes that look for the way to the farm. I have three cats and one dog. My dog's name is Richochet, but we call him Riki Tiki. WE named him Richochet because when he sees us he bounces around like a ball that is richcheting off of a tree.
